[sharing] give your brushes a bath : )

Makeup brushes can become coated with makeup residue, body oils, dead skin
worse than this  >>  bacteria will build up

so, ALL makeup brushes have to wash frequently...
You don't want to put all those bacteria, dead skin, oils on yours right?
so, please do wash your brushes!

Here I'm going to share out how frequently I wash my brushes and how I did it.

First, eyeliner brush.
I wash my eyeliner brush everytime I've used.
since it used on my important area
I want to make sure it is clean and safe to use, don't you? >o<

Next, foundation and concealer brush.
I wash it as I wash my eyeliner brush
  >>means, washes after used, everytime!
WHY? bacteria will easily growth in "wet" condition (e.g. liquid foundation)
so, you should wash your those brushes more harder!
and your don't want to reapply the "yesterday" foundation on your face right?...yaksss!

For other application brushes,
e.g. eyeshadow brush, powder brush, blush brush, eyebrow brush...

Use wet tissue to wipe it after used!
gently wipe it until no more "color pigment" come out. >o<

In addition, I give them an ultimate bath regularly
"regularly" means when I feel that they are dirty!
it depends on how often I put on my makeup. teehee~
But if you put make up on everyday, wash them WEEKLY!!
Don't be lazy`~ You want your brushes to life longer, right?

Ok, how I "bath" my brushes?
It's easier than give yourself a bath, believe me!  : p

All you need to prepare are baby shampoo, two clean and dry tower.
p/s: brushes cleaner is UNNECESSARY!
baby shampoo can clean it well, we don't want to spend extra : )

First      wet your brushes
p/s: wet the hair of the brushes. No the whole brush!
your brush does not swim..zzz

Second     put on baby shampoo and wipe it GENTLY!
all the "color" and residue will come out : )
*p/s: don't press you brushes too hard

.

Third       rinse off the shampoo with WARM water

Forth    wait them dry, it's take time.

It's time to show your patience  : )

Place your blushes up-side down (head down)
Don't let the water flow back to the hair. This will loosen the glue!

I would like to place them like the 1st video shown.
put a towel horizontal, and roll another up as a "pillow" for your brushes
*look into the video, you will know what I'm saying...haha!

Lastly     keep your brush properly and nicely

keep it in your brushes bag if you have one !

Alternatively, you can keep it like this : )
pretty cool right? haha

that's it! : )

Points:

1. ONLY wet the hair of the brushes. DON'T wet the whole brushes!
Or you're going to kill your brushes...x.x

2. while you air-dry your brushes, DON'T put them like this,

or like this,

3. Do disinfect your blushes.
I use dettol wet tissue to do this : )

4. Treat your brushes gently : )

References:

both are my favour makeup artist
They give nice makeup tutorial  : )

The first is > Beauty QQ <
And I'm more prefer the way she given.
It's more complete compare to the second one.

Next is  > Michelle Phan <
I suggest not to use dish cleaner..as it is too dry
Although olive oil will re-condition your brushes
But it's smell bad  : (
